ATI Community Based Counselling is an initiative established by ATI Training and Education in recognition of the increasing need for psychological support / counselling both in the midlands and throughout the country.
In these difficult times people are finding themselves affected by the additional pressure of the recession and many are concerned for the future.
While psychological support has always been available, it comes at a cost and can become an expensive process to the point that it could be regarded as a luxury for some.
ATI has responded with the establishment of a community based initiative aimed at providing such support free of charge. In essence we provide an accessible therapy service to anyone who needs it without consultation fees standing in the way of therapy.
ATI Community Based Counselling offers psychotherapy services in a number of premises in different locations throughout the country, all under strict clinical supervision by supervisors accredited with the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP). Among the premises where counselling is available are The Kildare St. Clinic, D2, The Phoenix Centre, D7 and Drumlish Co. Longford.
Potential clients will initially be assessed by a psychologist or psychotherapist before being allocated to the best suited psychotherapist or trainee psychotherapist.
All therapists at ATI Community Based Counselling work in an integrative way with clients and draw on a background of humanistic, cognitive and psychological training. |
